“It was a pleasure to catch up with some of the team from the University of the West of Scotland when they visited Holyrood.
UWS is doing a lot of exciting and innovative work that’s helping to keep Scotland’s universities at the forefront of research.
I’m also pleased to see how the university is working with local organisations near their campuses, including Ayr United and St Mirren to get real world data for their research and give teams the opportunity to make use of UWS facilities to help their training.
Together with Ayrshire College, UWS is doing great work to give people in Ayrshire top level opportunities to learn new skills and build brilliant careers and I’m delighted to support them.”
